There is all kinds of talk about the microbiome today. And, it’s true that optimizing your gut flora may be one of the most important things you can do for your health. The first Phase of the Protocol
The first two phases of the protocol utilize a colon cleansing drink that starts treating the candida where it originates, in the colon. The drink consists of three products that are described below. Because of its powerful absorptive and cleansing impact, it has been affectionately dubbed, the ‘Purge Drink’. This drink can be continued throughout all phases of the protocol.
Best results are when combined with an elimination diet – elminate sugar, wheat, and dairy for five weeks while using the purge drink.
PHASE I – First five weeks to three months: The ‘Purge Drink’ is made up of the combination of 1-2 teaspoons of liquid Bentonite, 1 teaspoon of Psyllium husk & seed blend, 8 oz of water and 1 tbs of Caproyl (liquid suspended caprylic acid). Combine these ingredients in room temperature water, drink quickly and then follow up with another 8 oz of water. It is recommended that you drink the purge drink in the morning on an empty stomach one hour before eating and can also be used again one hour before bedtime. The Attogram Psyllium Husk and Seed Blend is smooth mixing, high quality, contaminant-free psyllium product. When mixed with the Bentonite liquid it is an important support during the initial colon cleanse because it soaks up mycotoxins that are produced as the yeast and fungus are killed off. This results in a much more comfortable cleanse with the minimum die off.
Per Dr. Dean – use the purge drink and elmination diet for two weeks – then take a week off of the purge drink and just follow the elminiation diet – add the purge drink back in for two more weeks and at the end of the fifth week evaluate your results by gradually adding small amounts of your regular foods into your diet and see how your body responds.
