Last week’s radio show Magnesium Deficiency – An Urgent Call to Action triggered a powerful awareness for one of our listeners:
‘As Dr. Dean responded to individual questions throughout the show I realized…I am not taking enough ReMag! I was only taking 1/2 a teaspoon a day. Now I am taking one teaspoon a day with my goal to use two teaspoons a day to protect my cardiovascular system.’
Two teaspoons? WOW – why does the body require so much darned magnesium? Well, it turns out that magnesium is not only producing necessary enzymes and working in the mitochondria to make ATP but magnesium is also necessary for protein synthesis at the ribosomal level. The ribosomes are the cellular organelles where proteins are synthesized. Magnesium “activates” the amino acids involved and allows the mRNA to attach to the ribosomes. Magnesium is also found in the nucleus of the cell and is essential for the stability of the nucleic acids RNA and DNA. If DNA and RNA structure do not remain stable you may have mutations in the codes and produce incorrect peptides are none at all during protein synthesis. Energy for the production of proteins must come from ATP as well. Without magnesium available in many areas of the cell, protein synthesis cannot occur.
Okay- so magnesium is super critical! BUT – how do you know what form of magnesium to take and how much to take every day? And, can you take it with the other supplements you are taking now? And, will it interfere with your prescription drugs?
When Dr. Dean first wrote The Magnesium Miracle, she was mainly interested in educating people about magnesium itself. It was before she even realized the extent of her own magnesium deficiency, which was causing daily heart palpitations and nightly leg cramps. Initially, she believed that magnesium supplements were much alike, and she researched an exhaustive list of magnesium supplements to comparing their effectiveness.
Months later, in an Amazon review of The Magnesium Miracle, someone remarked that Dr. Dean’s exhaustive list of magnesium products in the first edition was much too confusing and time-consuming for her to research. She just wanted to know the best forms of magnesium to take, based on Dr. Dean’s professional recommendation, her research, and experience.
Tonight on her internet based radio show, Dr. Dean will be talking about MAGNESIUM SUPPLEMENTATION – DETERMINING YOUR NEEDS AND DECIDING WHAT TO TAKE along with a wide range of health topics and safe solutions. You will love hearing the beneficial interactions with our callers and hosts alike including the body/mind connection, identifying the ‘conflict’ in the ‘conflict basis’ of disease and much more!!
