Does the Body Have Wellness Priorities?

Customers choose our products for their own specific reasons. They might look for help in improving their wellness in the face of chronic conditions like diabetes, heart arrhythmia, arthritis, etc. Alternatively, they might  have a more acute situation and want to support recovery from accidents, trauma, surgery, or infections. So, if a customer purchases our products with the intention of improving, for example, muscle relaxation, why doesn’t that happen immediately? One of the reasons is that the body has wellness priorities.

What Does “Wellness Priorities” Mean?

Your body is intelligent and has a drive to live a long, vital, vibrant life. The instinct to preserve vigorous wellness is the guiding principle or prime directive your body follows. How can we apply this concept to you, our customer?

In our example, your intention is to use our products to improve muscle relaxation. What if you have calcification in your circulatory system? Imagine that your body knows dissolving calcium in the circulatory system is a priority for living better and longer? What if the body is using our products to dissolve the calcium first instead of relaxing your muscles? You would know if your muscles relaxed but not necessarily if your calcification decreased, so you think that nothing is happening. Could it be that the body is creating more wellness than you imagined  by improving cardiovascular performance before relaxing your muscles?

Also, you must consider that in the case of ReMag, it is enhancing the performance of 1,000 enzyme systems in the body, so it may have a priority to gradually increase magnesium stores throughout the whole body before settling on one particular system to improve. 

Since the body is intelligent enough to make these decisions, doesn’t it make sense that when “muscle cramping” becomes the body’s priority (or there is a saturation of minerals to meet every need), the muscles will relax? From highest to lowest priority, the body will use our well-absorbed nutrients to support the balance of many different organ systems by improving cellular structure and function.

What Are the Body’s Wellness Priorities?

There is little scientific agreement about the hierarchy the body uses to create wellness, probably because this is a very individual activity depending on your health history. So, creating an ordered list hardly makes sense. But, what is clear is that the body will preserve organs that are vital to life (heart, brain, etc.) as a matter of importance. Once these priorities are met, the body bases its choices on the person’s unique needs. For example, we know that the heart contains the most magnesium in the body, which makes it a priority. Also, by the time a person develops magnesium-deficient heart palpitations, they have a long list of other magnesium deficiency symptoms. 

What Impacts these Priorities?

Lifestyle choices affect the body’s wellness priorities. If you live a health-creating lifestyle, then your body can continue to balance using more refined priorities. If your lifestyle is less supportive, then your body has more rebalancing to do. The factors that impact your body’s wellness are:

  • Nutrition
  • Hydration
  • Sunlight
  • Fresh air
  • Exercise
  • Supplements
  • Medication
  • Stress
  • Environmental toxicity

Relax and Allow

Whether you are a beginner or a veteran product user, you can trust your body’s intelligence and its innate drive for wellness. It may be hard to fathom at first, but a dis-ease can manifest as the body’s way of trying to solve a problem or conflict or alert you to a problem or conflict. Trusting your body allows you to relax and allow the process of creating even more good health.
