Melody-Rose here. I’ve been working with Dr. David Holt, the Total Biology consultant Dr. Dean recommends. (Later in the month I hope to write about this interaction in more detail.) We’ve had some very interesting conversations about expanding wellness, how to create more joy and vitality, and why some people will and others won’t turn their situation around. So, I’m writing under my byline tonight to share tips and tools that I’ve used myself to change direction and move to a better place.
It’s a Mindset!
Overcoming Negative Health Declarations
Let’s talk about giving up in the realm of creating more wellness. You or your loved one have been feeling pretty awful and went to the doctor. Your doctor got your/their test results. They give a diagnosis, and then make a pronouncement about your/their future, like:
You have a genetic blood disorder. We can’t fix your genes at the moment, but we can try to halt the disorder’s progress by treating symptoms.
You had a stroke. You will never recover your memory.
You have nerve damage. You will never get out of the wheelchair.
I am sure just reading these statements is uncomfortable. That’s because most of us were brought up in a culture where doctors are thought of as gods. So, if a doctor pronounces your future, it’s a very scary situation. I should know. It happened to me — the last declaration was what my doctor told me.
Don’t Give Up
I’m here, walking around, to tell you that you don’t have to give up when you get this kind of advice. In fact, I can still remember the doctor looking down at me. But I also remember one of my success coach’s mantras bubbling up from inside me and me telling the doctor, “Your opinion of who I am does not have to become my reality.” Since the doctor thought I was nuts and didn’t give me any help, I started my journey into alternative wellness. Luckily, I found others who believe, like I do, that it’s always possible to create more wellness. In fact, that’s why you found us here at RnA ReSet.
The Worst Is Over
When I first met Dr. Dean, she told me, “The worst is over.” In fact, she still tells people that when they arrive in the RnA ReSet environment. Why is this true? At RnA ReSet you have found people who understand your circumstances, care about you succeeding, and have the information and products that support your ever-expanding wellness.
Doctor of the Future. Dr. Dean has helped thousands of people turn their health situations around over the last fifty years. She has taken the time to share her research and expertise through her books, articles, and blogs so that everyone can benefit from what she’s learned. For years, she has produced an internet radio show where people can phone in live and ask questions. Additionally, she has an amazing customer service department who not only search the archive for answer to questions, but if an answer isn’t found, refers questions to Dr. Dean for her personal response. She does all of this from a position of kindness and wanting more health and personal empowerment for you. What other doctor gives as much so freely?
Products that Work. The products that Dr. Dean creates work. The reason why they do is that she creates them for her own use, uses them, and then shares them with people who want them. Let’s take a look at her own words, for example, on why ReMag was created:
For personal reasons, I had been actively seeking a form of magnesium that is fully absorbed at the cellular level and does not have any laxative effect for a decade before ReMag came to market.
You may be surprised to hear me say that magnesium has a wonderful fail safe mechanism that prevents it from building up in the body – the laxative effect. What’s not absorbed into the bloodstream and into the cells after a dose of magnesium is eliminated through the kidneys in the urine and flushes through the intestines as loose stool. My problem was that any form of magnesium in pills or powder gave me a fairly immediate laxative effect. This meant that I’m unable to get enough magnesium into my blood and cells to effectively fight my magnesium deficiency symptoms before it explodes out the other end!! I apologize for being a bit dramatic, but that’s what happens to a certain percentage of magnesium users.

Be All In
If I could give you one piece of advice that will help you turn your or your loved one’s health (or any other situation) around, it would be, “Be All In.” Your body, mind, emotions, and spirit appreciate consistency more than anything. So, stay as consistent as you can with your commitment to bring positive change into your life. Even if all you can do is take a baby step, take a baby step every day.
Here is how I described “being all in” when I first talked to Dr. Dean about improving my heart health:
If you tell me to go out to the cemetery, take a teaspoon of grave dirt, and eat it every day, I will.
That’s the kind of commitment I’m talking about. You choose more, and you back up that choice with some action every single day, no matter how you feel.
Picking and Choosing
Now that you know the worst is over, let’s deal with those pesky bumps in the road that stop you from “being all in.” Personally, I’m a work in progress. So, I’m not perfect, and if I don’t discipline myself, I’ll pick and choose what is easy to do for me from what I know works. Here are some tips that helped me consistently do what works — use the products, research Dr. Dean’s information, and improve my lifestyle choices.
I Don’t Like the Taste
First, are you using the products as Dr. Dean suggests. If you are using the mineral products (ReMag/ReMyte/ReCalcia) as suggested, they are diluted in 32 ounces/1 liter of good quality water. Second, create a drink that you like. You can add unsweetened fruit juice, unsweetened fruit juice concentrate, and healthy sweetener to your quart of product/sea-salted water. My two favorite products water drinks are:
- unsweetened cranberry juice concentrate and stevia added to 32 ounces of product/sea-salted water (It’s a lovely color and is a delicious drink. In the summer, I add ice and fresh mint to make this festive.)
- fresh-squeezed lemon/lime juice with powdered ginger and stevia added to the 32 ounces of product/sea-salted water (I like the spa-like quality of this drink, too!)
I Don’t Like ReStructure
I personally love my ReStructure smoothies. But, if you don’t like smoothies or ReStructure is too sweet or not sweet enough for your palate, have you thought of adding ReStructure to your food to get the muscle-building benefits of this amazing protein supplement? Here are some recipes that our customers have developed so that they can use more ReStructure:
Recipe 1. Fat-free ReStructure Cookie
In a mixing bowl add:
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ReMag
1/2 teaspoon ReMyte
1/2 teaspoon ReCalcia
1 teaspoon vanilla
mix and add to that:
1/3 cup Truvia Baking Blend
1/2 cup ReStructure vanilla protein dry mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Note: You can add 2-3 tbs of butter for a buttery rich flavor OR make as is.
Combine ingredients and stir in 3/4 cup walnuts. Drop onto prepared cookie sheet by Tablespoonfuls. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
You can make sandwich cookies by cutting them open and adding frosting or ice cream. They freeze well too.
Recipe 2. Fat Free ReMag and ReStructure Cake
Mix 3/4 cup of salted ReMag and ReMyte water with one full scoop of ReStructure and set aside.
In a bowl mix:
3/4 cup of beet sugar [To sweeten the cake I like to use Beet Sugar , you can use Truvia but lessen the amount to ½ cup.]
1/4 cup organic buckwheat flour
1/4 cup of organic barley flour
1/3 cup dry peanut butter powder
1/2 cup organic white wheat flour
1/3cup organic cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon each of baking soda and baking powder
To that add 2 large eggs, the ¾ cup ReStructure mix you put aside and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Beat together pour into prepared pan, top with nuts, and bake at 350 for 25/30 minutes.
Recipe 3. Reset’s Healthy Low Fat Low Sugar Peanut Butter Cookies
In a food processor with knife in place, add:
3/4 cup of peanut butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Truvia brown sugar blend
1 egg (large)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk with 2 teaspoons ReMag and 1 teaspoon ReMyte
Blend 12 seconds, then add:
1/2 cup gluten free flour
1/2 cup ReStructure
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Blend 12 seconds until well mixed
Drop onto prepared cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. I like to put chocolate chips on top or mix some in to batter. Cool completely and enjoy. Sandy
Recipe 4. Steele Scott’s Pancake Recipe.
ReStructure Suggestion. If you are not a baker or making pancakes for breakfast (lunch/dinner) doesn’t fit in with your time schedule, you can always make a bowl of instant oatmeal and put half a packet of ReStructure in the oatmeal.
I Can’t Swallow Capsules
Some people don’t use ReAline, even though there’s great benefits to supplementing B Vitamins and L-taurine and L-methionine (the two amino acids that are in ReAline), because they can’t swallow the capsules. If you have this issue, simply open the capsule and sprinkle ReAline on your food. I have done this in the past to see what it is like, and I found that sprinkling ReAline on my rice, mashed potatoes, and oatmeal all worked well.
Even 1/4 Teaspoon Is Too Much for Me
We all start our health journey with RnA ReSet at different places. Some people will come to us to improve their athletic performance or gain health only now imagined. They already eat the best quality food they can find, hydrate appropriately, spend time outside in the fresh air and sunshine, and exercise. So, they are expanding the wellness they already experience.
Others, like I was, have chronic health issues, been on medications almost forever, or may live in toxic environments (physically and/or emotionally). When you come from this space, you might be so toxic that even a small amount of well-absorbed nutrients triggers detoxification. Additionally, you can begin using the products in very small amounts. When I first started ReMag, 1/8 teaspoon in 32 ounces of water triggered more detox than I could handle at the time. So, Dr. Dean advised me to start with one drop of ReMag on my skin. Then, when my body acclimated to one drop, I went to two drops of ReMag on my skin and so on.
In fact, what I found over time is that there isn’t one product RnA ReSet offers that is anything less than extremely beneficial to use, that can’t be worked with. It might take patience. It might take time to build up to suggested amounts. But, using the products to improve the structure and function of your cells happens no matter what your circumstances and without fail or exception (as Ginney says).
I Don’t Have Time to Research
This is an easy one. Go to https://drcarolyndeanlive.com where recordings of over 7 years of Dr. Dean’s internet radio shows are archived. When I’m doing housework, cooking dinner, or taking a detox bath, I listen to a recording in the background. In fact, by listening in 5-10 minute segments, I was able to listen to an audio a day.
Not Enough Energy (to Move)
I mentioned in an earlier post that one of my favorite excuses for not exercising more is that I don’t have enough energy. This is an issue because I want to move my lymph more, and exercise is key. So, I’ve been asking the question, “What would it take to have more energy so that I can exercise more?” I find that asking the question, especially out loud, with no expectation that it will be answered immediately, creates more space for a solution to appear.
So, I was researching for an article a few days ago and ran across this:
Dry Massage (Udvartana): Stimulate liver function with a dry massage of the foot soles with a brush. Do this around 40-50 times. Scrub the foot soles from heels to toes before going to bed – this is an excellent method to stimulate lymphatic.
I had the brushes, so I started this form of dry massage on my feet. Even after a few days, I’m already getting signs that my lymph is moving more. This actually has helped me feel more energized, too!
You Can Control Your Attitude
Experiencing contrast, like being in pain, can be challenging. After all, no one wants to suffer. But what if all contrast was is a catalyst for you to make different choices? What if, for example, doing what you’re doing fosters circumstances where your pain has a real presence for you? What if changing what you are doing would improve this picture? Realizing that once you change, there is no purpose for experience that particular contrast, would you be willing to make a shift?
Two Tools to Help You Shift
Where do you even begin a shift in attitude? If it was easy, everyone would look at contrast as the friend it is and willingly experiment with making changes. What happens if you are really stuck? I get stuck myself, and here are my best tools to unstick my “bad attitude” about my experience.
Gratitude Journal. Even if I am in the depths, I will grab my Gratitude Journal and write down 5 things I’m grateful for. In fact, when I’m going through a rough patch, I make it a disciplined habit to write 5 things I’m grateful for in the morning and 5 things I’m grateful for before I go to bed, even if I repeat items. Here is my current gratitude journal:
Prayer Box. But what happens if you feel circumstances are out of your control? Well, did you ever think that maybe they are? This is when using a Prayer Box makes a huge difference. Here is a portable Prayer Box that you can stick in your purse or brief case and take with you wherever you go.
When the solution to a problem seems out of the realm of possibilities that you can control, write the problem down on a piece of paper and put it in your Prayer Box. Every time you don’t have the answer, put the question in your Prayer Box.
In this way, you are dividing your life circumstances into two categories:
- those that are mine to figure out
- those that are my Higher Power’s to figure out
When you start acknowledging your partnership with your Higher Power and that your Higher Power has resources that you do not, then you can relax and allow the solutions to surface without input from you.
When you want to be, do, and have more, these are the mindset, support systems, tools, and attitudes that can help you create the life you have envisioned. I continue to urge you to choose to “Be All In” with life. Living with passion and commitment creates an enriching, joy-filled experience. In the meantime, I wish you happiness and the causes of future happiness.
